Free to self-host. Pay for the parts you use.

The gateway is and always will be MIT-licensed. Cloud is billed by reconciled payments per workspace per month — never per seat, never per API request.

Pricing FAQ

The fine print, in plain English.

What counts as a reconciled payment?

Any settlement the gateway records and writes a normalized ledger entry for. Failed 402s, dry runs, and sandbox traffic don't count toward your monthly total.

Is there a free trial of Cloud?

Yes — Cloud Starter has a 14-day trial that doesn't require a card. Your gateway keeps writing into the ledger after the trial; you just lose the dashboard until you upgrade.

Are gas fees included?

Gas is paid by whichever party signs the payment — usually the agent. Bridges and forwarders may add small protocol fees disclosed in the 402 response. OpenUSDC does not take a cut of the payment itself.

Can I move from Cloud back to self-host?

Always. Your historical ledger is exportable to S3 in one click, and the gateway you ran in front of Cloud is the same binary as the self-hosted gateway.
